SCANDem 2026 – Scandinavian Microscopy Conference
Tescan, together with our partner Nano Nordic, participated in the annual SCANDEM conference, bringing together the Nordic microscopy community for knowledge exchange and technical discussion.
During the event, we had the opportunity to showcase real-world applications of Tescan technologies and connect with researchers, scientists, and industry professionals working in electron microscopy and advanced imaging
SCANDEM is a key annual meeting that brings together researchers, scientists, and industry professionals working in electron microscopy and advanced imaging. The conference provides a platform for knowledge exchange, technical discussions, and collaboration across materials science, nanotechnology, and related fields.

Event Highlights
A key highlight of the event was the presentation by Erik Nilsson from Luleå University, titled:
“A Correlative Multiscale Workflow for Tomography”

The talk demonstrated how integrated imaging approaches enable deeper insight into material structures across multiple scales, highlighting the value of correlative workflows in advanced research.
Acknowledgement
We would like to thank our Scandinavian partners and the Nano Nordic team for their support and collaboration, as well as all participants who contributed to valuable discussions throughout the event.
