20th International Conference on Materials and Technologies for Defense and Security (MaTeDaS 2026)
Tescan is a proud partner of the MaTeDaS conference, and it was an honor for us to officially open the new m-CT laboratory at the University of Defense in Brno, Czech Republic.
University Engineers will use our micro-CT UniTOM HR for army materials analysis.
The MaTeDaS conference has long been a significant international professional platform that connects the Army of the Czech Republic, academic and research organizations, industrial partners, and other entities of the defense and security ecosystem. This year's edition once again showed that the ability to share knowledge, foster cooperation, and translate research results into practical technologies is a key prerequisite for strengthening the state's defense capability.

Expert discussions focused mainly on advanced materials, modern manufacturing and additive technologies, biocompatible materials, and other technologies relevant to defense and security. One of the conference's main goals was to find ways to connect scientific and research organizations, industry, and the real needs of users.
