Tescan is pleased to support the opening of a new laboratory at the Czech Technical University in Prague (ČVUT), Faculty of Civil Engineering. This milestone marks a significant advancement in materials science research and education in the region.
Equipped with the state-of-the-art Tescan Plasma FIB-SEM microscope, the new facility is designed to accelerate discovery and foster innovation across civil engineering disciplines. Tescan's FIB-SEM systems offer capabilities beyond high-resolution imaging. These instruments are designed to facilitate the precise cutting, shaping, and analysis of structures at the nanoscale level. The laboratory will serve as a collaborative hub for researchers, educators, and industry experts, enabling deeper insights into material behavior and performance.
The opening ceremony will feature contributions from leading figures in academia and industry, including:
The program features keynote talks and a microscope demonstration, scientific presentations on Plasma FIB applications in multipurpose labs, networking sessions, and a seminar featuring invited lectures from prominent researchers.
Tescan’s contribution to this initiative reflects its commitment to empowering researchers with reliable, high-resolution imaging tools. As a trusted partner in scientific discovery, Tescan continues to support institutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Michal Klášterecký will present on “Tescan - Partner Who Accelerates Science,” while Petr Klímek will share insights into “Plasma FIB in Multipurpose Labs: Applications & Workflows in Materials Science.”
Congratulations to the Faculty of Civil Engineering on this achievement. We look forward to seeing the new laboratory become a hub for innovation, discovery, and scientific progress!
